When kids exercise regularly chemicals are released into the brain and body that help a child adjust to stressful conditions. Playing outdoors helps kids release endorphins, serotonin and melatonin to help them sleep better and experience more happiness. Kids also increase levels of vitamin D to help fight depression and increase energy and resilience. Sport also helps kids to developing socially and reduce loneliness and increase their confidence and self-esteem.
